this may be along the same lines as bug 21482 - but it doesn't specifically ask
for this feature and i haven't found it listed elsewhere in bugzilla (but i may
not be searching correctly :) )
instead of defaulting to mozilla's directory to save files, it should default to
the users root home directory as found in $HOME (as netscape does)
