The WFM with autodetect enabled. Neither the server nor the page itself specify an encoding, so without autodetect enabled, I have no idea what we're supposed to do, but choosing Western European or UTF-8 seems likely.

I don't pretend to know Korean, but that sure looks like Korean to me. I suspect this is either a font issue or some weird encoding specification on the client side.
Does a fresh profile fix it?

will allow you to test that easily.
OK, I ran this today with a fresh profile (i.e., with autodetect off) and got the Latin-1-type gibberish.
The issue is as I described in comment 1: the site sends neither a http charset header nor a meta charset in the html itself, so there's no way for us to know what charset is in use (without autodetect, which is off in I think every app in the tree because it is still rather buggy).
Mark, the simple solution for you on this site is to check "Automatically Detect Text Encoding" in the View: Text Encoding menu, but I think that this is a Tech Evangelism bug in the sense someone needs to tell the kr.dic.yahoo.com folks they need to declare a charset (preferably in the http headers, but as a meta charset tag in the page's html would also work).

Looks like the korean mini site is shut down. If people can reproduce this with other Yahoo properties provide a URL and reopen the bug.
