User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070529 SUSE/2.0.0.4-8.3 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.4 (20070613) Situation: Two accounts: 1 IMAP, 1 POP3 Filters which move mails from local inbox to certain folders within the IMAP account. Problem: The filters work correctly when applied by hand via menu (run filters on folder?). If applied automatically after receiving new email from POP3 account Thunderbird creates an empty email with date 1970/01/01 in the destination folder, adapts the number of emails per folder in the left column, but the real mails are still found in the local inbox (and only there). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Two accounts, one IMAP, one POP3 2. Create filters to move mails from local inbox to IMAP folders 3. Poll emails from POP3 account causes the automated filtering to fail Actual Results: Totally empty emails in destination folders (within IMAP), originals still in local inbox. Expected Results: All messages are in their destination folders.

Johannes do you see this with version 3?
no reply from reporter, please close
Johannes, this issue is pretty old. Since then, Thunderbird had two major releases. Can you please re-test this on the latest opensuse 11.4 and TB 3.1.8?
I had not expected anybody to work on this after almost 4 years. ;) This is gone for me indeed. Therefore marking it as fixed.
