Yes, in fact the plan is to move the dokuwiki to ecmascript-lang.org, so we won't need the intranet one after we've successfully moved.

I'm assuming Dave, or rather Jeff Dyer, has arranged for backups as well as for the hosting. Dave, do you know the backup story?

No, I don't know about backups. I'll ask Jeff.

Re: the intranet, can we keep around a redirect for a while once we've made the move? Just so existing links won't leave people stranded.

Ok, I have a tarball of the wiki that's 30MB. How do you want me to get it to you?

Yes, that's possible. Just give me the new url, and I can add a redirect once the move is complete.

We really need to fix this. I've been pinged just today by someone working on Rhino additions for ES4 compatibility who would benefit from a fresh wiki export or a world-readable wiki. Reopening, cc'ing dherman. Hope he's past his deadline now and can help with this -- Dave, Graydon: do you guys have cycles?

I'm ready now. Can we do a fresh capture of the wiki? Thanks,

Dave
Dave, could you send an email to everyone so they know not to edit until the move is complete? Thanks,

However is convenient. If it's too big for email just stick it on some temporary web or FTP server.

Thanks,

I've e-mailed you a link to the tarball. Let me know when you have downloaded it.

Dave, have you downloaded the tarball yet? If so, I'd like to close this bug out and remove the tarball.

Yes, sorry, it's all set up now. Thanks for your patience.

Dave
So do we make the intranet dokuwiki read-only? Put a notice at the top of each page pointing to the new site?

Whoever has access to the files can modify acl.auth.php to make it read-only, but we could also just remove everything and replace doku.php with a redirect to the new site.

I can do either option. If you want option #2, I'll need the URL of the new dokuwiki page.

Brendan, it's up to you. If we want option #2, the new URL is http://wiki.ecmascript.org.

Dave
Read-only for now please.
