Hi,

If you receive an e-mail that has a file link like File://C:\ and you use Outlook or IE, you can double click and go to that directory in Microsoft Windows XP.

This behavior doesn't work in either Firefox 2.0 or Thunderbird 2.0. I need it a lot actually.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
nothing opens

Expected Results:
nothing happens

should have opened a Windows explorer window and cd: to the directory specified.
see <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Links_to_local_pages_do_not_work> why this type of links don't work (for security reasons), and a workaround
