for a blog / rss feed account, Trash is the first folder?
I'm using version 2.0.0.5pre (20070625) on windows xp.
I think I would expect it after all my feed folders, as they are more like inboxes, right?

I agree it is inconsistent.
It affects also
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20091222 Lightning/1.1a1pre Shredder/3.1a1pre ID:20091222031744
Summary: for a blog / rss feed account, Trash is the first folder? → for a blog / rss feed account, Trash is the first folder (inconsistent with other accounts)
Version: 2.0 → Trunk

Still not fixed in 17.0.7!
In fact, it's not inconsistent. All 'special' folders (Inbox, Trash etc) are created for all accounts, where pertinent, first; of those Trash is last. Any user created folder which is an account subfolder follows the special folders. It just so happens Feeds have only 1 special folder, Trash, followed by feed folders. These are user created and not an 'Inbox'.
The solution, barring uplifting the extension's functionality, is to get the extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/manually-sort-folders
