When I get any email with pictures in it the pictures just show up as blank squares.they will not open up

just send any email with a picture and it doesnt show up
Inline image or remote? Do you get the "images blocked"-bar on top of the message? Tried thunderbird2.0? If you can reproduce there, attach a sample mail (save as .eml)
