User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) Build Identifier: FireFox 2.0.0.4 I used to use FireFox every day without any significant problems. But now, when I open FireFox, the page is gray and it says 'Done' at the bottom. This problem shows up on every page I visit, meaning I can't browse the web with FireFox anymore! :( Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open FireFox 2.See that it doesn't work 3.cry because you hate the Internet Explorer!!! Expected Results: I was expecting the Mozilla starting page to show up, with Google, ready to use!

Reporter, does the problem occur in Safe Mode <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode> ? If it doesn't, then it migth be due to one of your extensions. One other thing that you can try, is to create a new profile <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager>.
I tried Safe Mode, it didn't work, then I created a new profile and the window now had two tabs opened, both just show the same empty pages as before.
Summary: FireFox won't display any pages at all; says the page is 'Done', even though a gray page is displayed → Firefox won't display any pages at all; says the page is 'Done', even though a gray page is displayed
Do you use a firewall ?

I don't think my AVG Control has one built in but I have the Windows Firewall.
Can you please remove the firefox entry from the firewall configuration and add it again ?
Well, I don't know if I did it right, but I removed FireFox from the list of exceptions on the Windows Firewall and then added it again, nothing changed, though.
shiznit1, uninstall FF, remove from firewall, reinstall FF. results?
