User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 the user data and the passwords as stored in the password manager are still visible in the password manager but since the update to 2.0.0.4 is that dat no longer being used and filled in to the respective websites the forms turn up empty and you have to fill in again the respective data of user name and password in to the password manager after having retrieved manually the same user data and password from the password manager allthough the dat is indentical of the data retrieved manually from the password manager the password manager will see it as new data and asks if it needs to be stored or not it clearly wont rememeber the previous data as being stored previously allthoug h the data is clearly visible in the password manager Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Could you please provide more information: - a list of sites you experience this on - did you get updated from an earlier version of 2.0 or was this an update from 1.5.0.12? - do you use any addons or themes? if so, which ones? - could you please provide us with the steps to reproduce? Thank you
Reporter: Also, did you go back and forth between Firefox 1.5.0.x and 2.0.0.x at some point with the same profile? There were changes made between the two branches in the Password Manager area.
This was probably a result of the fix for bug 360493.
