User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070605 Firefox/2.0.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070605 Firefox/2.0.0.4

When browsing a while on ebay with several tabs, ff gehts really slow.
On actions like switching tab, closing one or opening an like in an new tab, it hangs up to several seconds.

One of the ff processes runs w/ very high CPU consumtion (>95%).

Rendering is still quite fast, but user actions take a long time.
On Javascript actions it also hangs about a second.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. browse a lot on ebay and open several tabs (ie. 15..20).

2. to see the jscript/ajax hangs, you may play around w/
http://auctionwatch.metux.de/
(it's an auction crawler. in the result list, elements can be removed by
pressing a button, which triggers some little javascript for ajax and
hiding the deleted row).

Do you see this with FF 3 and clean profile with no extentions?
