In today's trunk build, I'm getting an extra UI element that's visible to the left of the GetMail toolbar button (which is a menu-button).

Looking at the element in DOM inspector, it appears to be a menupopup in the toolbar button that's now visible. I'm attaching a screen shot that shows the display glitch, dom inspector is highlighting it in red.


Could this be related to Bug 279703?

Quite likely caused by 279703. On Mac I get a strange repeated dropdown image that causes the toolbar the bounce about wildly. I'll investigate as I didn't see this when I tested the popup patch with Thunderbird.

Not sure what those extra menupopups were there for, but they can be removed.

The issue is caused because after bug 279703, only the first menupopup is considered part of the menu, whereas before the frames were just added as children but never used. I should probably file a bug on just not creating frames for the other menupopups.
