Login at Netvibes.com doesn't work. Whenever i try to login, i get back to the main page & the login link still exists, which means i can try to login again,it doesn't work & it is a big loop. this has happened since 1 week approximately. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to www.netvibes.com
2. enter your username and passowrd
3. if you can't login, enter them again.
4. still doesn't work. 
Actual Results:  
going back to the login page

Expected Results:  
successfully login & go to your RSS pages

Also been effecting my nightlies for about 2-3 days.  Always reproducible in XP Minefield 3.0apre7

What are you cookie settings set to?
Bug 387629 is similar, but seems to lack a few details.

Ryan C.: This means the netvibes login worked in older nightlies? Could you possibly download older nightlies from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/ and see when this broke?
stani: Same for you :), except use http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/ (you can also test with Firefox if you want, it should not matter). Just download the .zip files and extract them somewhere. Normally the (date)-02 or (date)-03-trunk folders contain the win32 zip files. Sometimes the nightly is in another folder, just look a bit...

my cookie settings are the default ones - use default cookie permission. the weird thing is that i tried so many builds & i still couldn't log in. which made me think that since this event:

login is troublesome. login works on http://eco.netvibes.com/ but then it is not transfered to the main netvibes page. so odd. i will try some more old builds.

The nightlies stopped working on the 2007061704 version.  I have been using it though up til july at least.  I agree with the above poster that the new edition might have something to do with it

I also use the default cookies setting

I just downloaded the latest Aug 8 nightly trunk build and then to my joy the netvibes login problem is fixed!!
