To test login, use:

login doesn't seem to get processed, and everything just loads much more slowly than it should, esp. compared to Firefox 2 or Safari.

To compare to a similarly AJAXy, news feed-y site like Pageflakes results in none of the modules loading, and an error message
Which build are you testing (presumably a Mac trunk build, but posting build IDs never hurts)? Can you find out when this regressed?

the login problem is a duplicate of bug 387554
Do you still see this with a current trunk build? Some people have reported that the login works for them again.
