i pretty much always get an error report like this no matther which site i try to connect to -

Sounds like you have some malware installed that's trying to get between you and web sites in order to show you ads on megaclick.com.  Try running some anti-malware software.  A quick Google search for "megaclick" and "megaclick malware" suggests that it often comes with a program called "Megaupload toolbar", so if you've installed that, you'll probably want to uninstall that first.  (Your user-agent string shows "MEGAUPLOAD 1.0", so it's almost certainly that.)
