388067 - Delete de messages but the files get bigger and bigger

When you receive a message with or without an atach, (ie - atach with 5Mb)
If you delete the message from inbox and delete it from trash, the files inbox and trash (Thunderbird\Profiles\toi9fvt5.default\Mail\Local Folders) remain with 5Mb !!!
And as you get new emails, this files get bigger, even if you delete all the messages.
This files in my computer was with up to 2Gb !!!!!
That is it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.get the message
2.delete de message
3.voi la - the file get bigger
Actual Results:  
A very slow computer

no bug, you have to compact the folders after you deleted the messages, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Compacting_folders
