If you use Apple+N instead, it works. If you minimize your open windows and then go to Firefox setting or any other FF component that has its own new window, close it and then try to make a new window via File->New Window it works. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Minimize all open Windows to the Dock 2. Click File->New Window 3. Be confused Actual Results: Nothing will happen Expected Results: New browser window appears The Number of open windows has no effect, as long it is greater than zero. Happens on Mac OS 10.4.10 (Intel)
