save "bookmarks testcase" as "bookmarks.sqlite"
The amount of items/folders doesn't matter here. The problem is that the background of the target folder is no longer highlighted (like the "Air Mozilla" item is in your screenshot).

You're going too fast Just select the bookmark and drag it up a few pixels. You'll notice that a folder well above your draggingpoint gets white highlighted text.

(In reply to comment #5) > You're going too fast Yes, I'm sorry. However, "my" problem seem to be true as well (but it's probably just a variation of this bug).
With the default XP (Luna) theme the menus are white so you can't even read what folder it is. Requesting blocking?

A bit of an edgecase, nice polish but not a hard blocker.

(In reply to comment #10) > A bit of an edgecase, nice polish but not a hard blocker. Did you take into account, that folder names also appear in white (thus invisible on many XP configurations as Luna's menues are white) when hovered by an dragged item? This may be a different bug, but a spearate one hasn't been filed.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
