User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007071504 Minefield/3.0a7pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007071504 Minefield/3.0a7pre

When running Minefield it makes it so the user cannot interact with the volume control icon located on the OS X menubar. This problem is not present in Firefox 2.0.0.4 or any other mac apps included with OS X. Minefield has to be the selected app, for example if minefield is running and I try to select the volume control it doesn't work, but if i keep it open and switch to Mail, then i can select the volume control. The keyboard shortcuts: f4 and f5 still work when minefield is active.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Minefield
2.Try to click the volume control icon on the menubar
3.see that the drop down volume control doesn't appear

Expected Results:
Allowed me to change the volume while keeping the app active.
confirming, I see this using Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/200707150404 Minefield/3.0a7pre. Need to get a regression range here...

the same happens if the user try to select the battery or the clock, but if the user clicks bluetooth, airport ,username, or spotlight and then moves there cursor over the volume or battery or clock they can be changed.
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I can't reproduce this on Minefield 2007071604 PPC under 10.4, so this is potentially Intel only.
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007071304 Minefield/3.0a7pre

This regressed between 2007-05-17-04 and 2007-05-18-04: http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?treeid=default&module=PhoenixTinderbox&branch=HEAD&branchtype=match&dir=&file=&filetype=match&who=&whotype=match&sortby=Date&hours=2&date=explicit&mindate=2007-05-17+03&maxdate=2007-05-18+05&cvsroot=%2Fcvsroot.

So, this is probably fall-out from bug 339945.

Please search for dupes before confirming a bug. It would've saved me the 15 minutes I spent finding a regression range for this.
Man, I thought I was going crazy; glad to know it's just a bug.

Verified DUP.
