Per our last Bugzilla meeting, we want a new component in Bugzilla to move bugs related to email_in.pl and friends in it. Not sure the wording is the best one, but it seems reasonable. :)

"Incoming Email", as per the summary. Just need a description...

Sorry Marcia, I expected justdave to provide the default assignee and QA contact names. Reed is right about the component name:

Component name: Incoming Email

Description: Everything related to bug creation and edition per email, such as email_in.pl and some other contrib/ stuff, and not using the WebService API.

Default Assignee: [e-mail] (new user)
Default QA contact: [e-mail] (existing user)
Default CC list: - (unless mkanat wants to be on it, but I don't think so)

Except replace "edition" with "editing".

Don't mention anything about contrib/, we don't support those scripts anymore.

So I'd have the Description look like:

Description: Everything related to bug creation and editing by email, using email_in.pl (and not the WebService API).

Except that bugs about scripts being in contrib/ will still be filed on b.m.o, and then we should have a clear component for them.

Oh, okay. So then it would look like:

Everything related to bug creation and editing by email, using
email_in.pl (or the contrib/bug_email scripts in old versions of Bugzilla).
