388343 - [MPL violation?] Netscape 9b2 doesn't list contributors

I'm not sure, if Netscape Navigator in version 9b2 correctly list contributors of  Mozilla.org project.

Repro 1:
 1. open Netscape 9.0
 2. open Help > About Netscape Navigator

Actual:
Only text "(c) 1998-2007 Contributors to the Mozilla Foundation" without any link is present.

Repro 2:
 1. continue with previous repro and click button Credits

Actual: 
Only text "The Mozilla Corporation and its contributors" related to problem can be found.

Repro 3:
 1. type "about:" in location

Actual:
Only text "© 1998-2006 by _contributors_ to the Mozilla Project." Link from word contributors links to about:credit, but it contains only Netscape's credits, same as About screen.

Expected:
Netscape Navigator should contain link to http://www.mozilla.org/credits/ or this page included in some visible place. But maybe I missed something...

I read discussion in bug 277119 and the only real problem is probably list of Initial Developers exposed in GUI.

There is no requirement in the MPL to link to http://www.mozilla.org/credits/. 

What happens when you type "about:license"? Does that have the same info as about:license in Firefox? Is there a link to it from about: or from Help | About?

"about:" is probably only available from Location bar.

_contributors_ to the Mozilla Project.
links to about:credits, containing only page included in "About Netscape Navigator - Credits" dialog (see previous screenshots)

_licensing information_ links to license page attached to this bug.

about:license is linked from about: which is probably not linked from any part of
GUI.

OK, so I see three problems:

- Because they have removed the link to about:license from About, the licensing notices are not "conspicuously included", as MPL section 3.6 requires.

- For the same reason, the statements required by section 3.3 are no longer "prominent".

- Their About text says "Mozilla Corporation" when it should say "Mozilla Project".

I apologize for this mixup; these issues were supposed to be addressed during the alpha phase but slipped through.  I've replaced the link to about:license in the About dialog as well as re-inserted the link to mozilla.org/credits and the original list of contributors from Firefox.  I have also made the "Mozilla Corporation" => "Mozilla Project" change.

These changes will be included in Navigator 9 Beta 3, which is due to be released shortly.

The issues were addressed in beta 3, and given that 9.0.0.4 is out now, this bug can be closed.
