This problem has been present in Thunderbird since pre 1.0 versions and is still there.  The option to only print the selected portion of an e-mail is always grayed out and it is therefore not possible to print a selected portion of an e-mail.  It would be really great if this feature could be added as it can be very wasteful when one wants a hard copy of opart of a very long e-mail.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an e-mail message
2. Select portion of the text in the e-mail.
3. Attempt to print the selected portion.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
