For me it seems that the extensions which are listed inside the sandbox are not recognized for generating the "New and Updated" list. Maybe I'm wrong and this is not a bug, but there are extensions listed which last update was more than one year ago. Its hard for extension developers to get reviews for their extensions if they are not even listed there. But, maybe I'm wrong and it should be as it is.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just visit the site supplied with this report (logged in, and with enabled sandbox mode)
Actual Results:  
Plugins which last update was on year (or more) ago are listed.

Expected Results:  
Updates which were submitted in the last hours/day/weeks should be listed.

Similarly for Thunderbird, the New & Updated seems wrong: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addons/browse/type:1/status:1.

Additionally, it appears that there is a large set of addons with the same last updated date of 11/30/99 which seems wrong. Or perhaps, it's the epoch time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epochal_date) for Remora

The date displayed there is the date of the last public approval of a version of this add-on. If they don't have any, this is what we get. In a sense, this is indeed epoch time for Remora ;)

Needless to say we should fix this, so that something useful shows up for the sandbox too.

Attachment: Using "modified" timestamp for sandbox

Here you are: This will keep on using the "last pushed public" date for public add-ons, but for the sandbox, we'll use the "modified" timestamp instead, because "last pushed public" does not apply here by definition.
