If I choose 'Editor' from the Tasks menu on Mac, often the window does not show up; it starts loading, but never stops. On the console I get: In NewEditorWindow()... Made WEBSHELL+ = 5 Made WEBSHELL+ = 6 Made WEBSHELL+ = 7 XP Popups: This is a nag to indicate that an inconsistent hack is being done on the Mac for popups. XP Popups: This is a nag to indicate that an inconsistent hack is being done on the Mac for popups. What's odd is that second and subsequent windows seem to come up fine. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that this is some kind of necko threading issue, compounded by the fact that we have an additional layer of overlays now.
I have XUL caching turned off, BTW.
when i was smoketesting today's Mac comm bits, i noticed that it took 5-10sec overall to open a composer window for the first time, during my first session.
I am wondering if there is something wrong with the task menu. I don't seem to have any problems when I open a new composer window from the File->New-> menu or by clicking on the new icon on the composer toolbar.
I don't have this problem today; does anyone else?
Works fine today. Weird.
