1. open any contact that has an email address.
2. select "other" tab
3. paste into Notes
3. click OK

actual result: hangs, no messages on error console, but no dataloss - on restart pasted data is in the AB (so that much worked)

reproducible: always

in my brief testing, does not happen if contact does not have an email address.
Linux too.
OS: Windows XP → All
Hardware: PC → All
works version 3.0a1pre (20070702 04)
fails version 3.0a1pre (20070703 16

maybe regressed from bug 379070?


(don't know if it is related, but also observed hang when clicking in AB between contacts, perhaps the speed of clicking causes hang. also happened once when double clicking a contact)

clarification - doesn't fail quite 100%
haven't determined the circumstances of when it doesn't fail.
definitely fail though if pasted text is more than a few words and contains a URI
did not happen in a brief test of seamonkey nightly build.
