Don't know where else to put this. I installed Web Developer plug-in and now can't uninstall. I contacted the author several weeks ago without a response. Please advise. I want to keep FireFox and my FireFox preferences. There should be a way to uninstall your third party plug-ins and I feel you have a responsibility to provide it.
Thank you.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Component: Installer → Extension/Theme Manager
QA Contact: installer → extension.manager
Summary: Web Developer plug-in → CanWeb Developer plug-in
Summary: CanWeb Developer plug-in → Can't uninstall Web Developer extension
I don't know what was so hard for you. I just deleted the app, the prefs, etc and downloaded another copy of Firefox from Safari.
Did Tools | Add-ons | Extensions | Uninstall not work for you?
And if the steps in comment #1 didn't work please let us know if it is listed in the add-ons mgr. and provide and url to install this extension. Thanks

I can un-install. And re-install. And un-install and cancel un-installation and it does not un-install.

Please go to the Tools menu, the Add-ons sub-menu. This will bring up a window. Find the Web Developer extension. Click on the Uninstall button. Then quit Firefox and re-launch. Go back to the Add-ons window and the Web Developer extension should not appear in the list.
