Observed in "3.0a7pre" of 2007-07-19, 2007-07-12. Firefox failed to start in the normal manner. I tried running from a terminal (command line). I tried creating a "virgin" profile, I tried "-safe-mode"
The ProfileManager dialog displays correctly and allows to create a new profile.
The main window is, at least, outlined -- no content rendered.
The "default browser" alert is displayed.
It doesn't await an answer -- the program immediately crashes and no messages appear on the "terminal."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
I'm not seeing this recently. Marking WFM
