Click on icon and Thunderbird opens. No emails are listed in either box although there are 3 new emails to be received being shown. The hour glass is showing but nothing happens. If I ctl/alt delete to the Task Manager it says Mozilla Thunderbird is not responding. None of the tool bar functions work except to minimize screen. Don't get an arrow to open any functions such as Sent, Inbox, or any folders.

no difference
Possibly antivirus/firewall locking it up? If not, have you tried reinstalling? Working in -safe-mode?
