Details
As I already commented in bug 38877, the already existing dropdowns for font-
family and -size in the "Format Toolbar" of Editor should change behaviour when
"HTML Source" tab is selected.
It should assign/change the font of the source displayed in the editor pane.
That's what seems to be the right implemetation as it's IMHO almost inacceptible
to hide the toolbar(s) completely (see 38877).

The default (only) font size of the editor window appears so tiny on my screen
that the lettering is distorted...pretty irritating to work with. (I am using
the Linux version.)

I am using 1.1a with Linux and 1.0 with Win. The font size is in both cases
hardly readable. First help would be to change it to the size that is used in
mail composing. NB: NS6.2.3 has a pretty readable font.

Jon, Daniel: Are you talking about font size in the "Normal" window or in
"HTML Source"? For the HTML Source, that has been fixed to use whatever you set
in preferences for the "monospace" font ("Appearances" page) - bug 114022.

Yeah, I was talking about the HTML Source editor window.
That's cool it got fixed, thanks.

Thanks Charles for the hint. I used the Orbit Theme and the bug seems to be
fixed only for Modern and Classic. Is there a canonical way to inform the theme
authors of bugs? May I use bugzilla with special keywords?

Hmmm. Interesting problem. I don't know off hand how we inform other theme
authors about important fixes. I'll ask around.

This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state.
If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way.
If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar).
If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state.

MASS-CHANGE:
This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but still has no comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project 5 years ago.
Because of this, we're resolving the bug as EXPIRED.
If you still can reproduce the bug on SeaMonkey 2 or otherwise think it's still valid, please REOPEN it and if it is a platform or toolkit issue, move it to the according component.
