User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20070713 Firefox/2.0.0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20070713 Firefox/2.0.0.5 I don't no much about BugZilla and what to do.... but recently the add-ons management with Firefox has been driving me CRAZY. So I tried installing an add-on and it said I had to restart so I did. I tried restarting again and again but it still said I needed to restart and it still didn't. I asked someone the told me to delete some extensions.* stuff in the profile folder but that deleted my extensions. I tried installing my add-ons again and it happened with some of the add-ons not all. Now it's getting really annoying. The main reason I use Firefox is because of add-ons. If they don't work then I would just use a different internet browser but I won't let it go that easy. Reproducible: Sometimes Well... I used iSafari... Then I got set back to default....

The flags should not be used for unconfirmed issues. Can you please provide some more details, which add-ons were you having problems with? Exactly what steps have you taken so far?

try these: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions_-_Firefox#Corrupt_extension_files please backup your files and if the solution works attach your old extensions.ini, extensions.cache, extensions.rdf to this bug report for investigation
