It took me 45 minutes (and restarting 7 times) to remove ALL add-ons, after which the problem seemed to be solved. I think it is HORRIBLE that this can happen because, after all, we trust the Mozilla site! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
The functionality provided by the recommended add-ons caused the problem and not the extension manager... over to addons.mozilla.org
