Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6
When the tab view is redrawn (for example when the mouse cursor is placed over a tab and the tab is highlighted) the tab view is corrupted by what is displayed on the screen immediately above the tab.
This also happens when the tab view is redrawn when a dropdown window from a bookmark link overlays the tab. When the dropdown window is removed the underlying tab view is corrupted.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.see above details
2.
3.
Actual Results:
see above details
Expected Results:
tab view should refresh to original state
The problem was found under Windows 2000 Pro(current updates) using a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop (graphics processor GeForce2Go ; nVIDIA ; BIOS 3.11.01.44.B4)
This behaviour is only evident when the computer's graphics card hardware acceleration is fully enabled (i.e. Windows-display properties- settings-advanced-troubleshooting-hardware acceleration-full ).
