I know that Safari makes use of Quartz and Open GL to render graphics in Flash, although I'm not sure if this has anything to do with this problem. I'm also not sure whether this is really a bug or rather just a performance issue, but I wanted to bring it to your attention regardless. Thanks for a great browser guys! Duping, since having more than one vague flash performance bug isn't useful.

(Although if you are talking specifically about the new Quartz-based drawing model in the latest Flash betas, then this is really a dup of an already-fixed core bug.)
