Hi,
In Thunderbird 2.0.5 running update does not update to 2.0.6.
It happens every time I tried.
How to make it happen.
Start thunderbird 2.0.5 go help > check for updates > it shows that the update to 2.0.6 is avaible > run it > let do its thing > thunderbird will be restarted > goto Thunderbird > about thunderbird > it still shows 2.0.5.
This bug is NOT present in the linux or windows version of thunderbird.
Something seems to be broken in the Mac version of the updater.
Please let me know if you need more info.

Can you screenshot this, and attach to the bug? Also, if you type "about:" without the quotes, what's the "Build identifier" text at the bottom read? Can you please cut and paste that here? Thanks!

You can enter it as the Start Page in Thunderbird, under Preferences | General.

Not really; we're unable to figure out what's wrong (not enough info, and we're not on the local machine). Seems like you'll just have to download 2.0.0.6 and install on top of it; sorry!
