Created attachment 276043 [details]
screenshot showing the issue in IE7

Using IE7 on Windows Vista, the header is messed up (see screenshots) as well as the font being larger.

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/netlib/ itself is fine, but following any link shows the problem http://www.mozilla.org/projects/netlib/http/http-debugging.html especially.

In firefox the difference is more subtle, there's a gradient background on the http page, and the search bar is in a slightly different place.

There was a necko.css file setting some style rules that seemed to be interfering with the global style. I commented that out and things seem better.

http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc?view=revision&revision=67409

Much of this content has been moved to MDC and most, if not all, of it probably should be, so instead of fixing any remaining layout or style issues on mozilla.org we should just move the content to MDC.
