When you use quick find to find some text in the title of a link, and then you press return/enter, nothing happens. In Firefox 2, the quick find toolbar would disappear, and the link you found would load. This seems like better behavior (unless we plan to merge quick find and find modes), since it makes it quicker to load a link you've found (otherwise you have to first dismiss the quick find toolbar). We should revert to the Firefox 2 behavior.

I can't reproduce this with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a8pre) Gecko/2007080905 Minefield/3.0a8pre. Enter activates the link for me.

Are you sure all these find bar bugs you're filing aren't due to a faulty extension or something?
Or perhaps they're Linux only, assuming that's what you're using - I've only tested Windows.

Hrm, I've disabled all extensions, and I still see the bugs, but if I start up in safe mode the bugs disappear, and they aren't present on a fresh profile. I wonder what might be horking this functionality besides extensions.
