Open about:plugins, and also the Tools > Add-ons > Plugins manager

If you disable a plugin using the plugin manager and then refresh
about:plugins, the entry in disappears; shouldn't the entry remain, but the Enabled column read 'No' instead?
That is the way it has always behaved for Java so this is an enhancement.

Not sure which component this should be since about:plugins is not part of the extension manager.

We should probably WONTFIX this based on the removal of the "Enabled" column in bug 180568 and the message change in bug 496198.
Bug 619652 merged the the remaining information from about:plugins into the Add-ons Manager. And bug 747301 would remove about:plugins. As such, WONTFIXing.
