This is a nice quick way to get a list of "important" sites.

I'm not sure if bug 383672 is/will be broad enough to cover this, so not marking it as a duplicate.  Note that that bug is blocking firefox 3.
I don't see what that bug has to do with this one. It's asking for new functionality, this one describes a regression from Firefox 2.
this will be fixed by the patch in bug #389491.

you'll get a list of https:// sites, but:

1)  they will be in a "frecency" like order (see #389491 for details)
2)  results would include any urls with https:// anywhere in the url
