Right now, the used in the bookmark bar folder menus is the same as regular context (and other) menus. I propose we use the same size we use in the location bar, which is a point or two smaller. This is what Safari 3 does and I think it looks nicer and less overbearing. Currently, I think the "Latest Headlines" menu visually outweighs the location bar and looks weird.
I haven't checked the css, but this could be fixed by bug 349437 (font inherits from parent).
