If you try to customize your toolbars while you've filtered by a quicksearch, when you return from the customize dialog, your search spec does not appear in the widget even though your search results are retained.

Steps to Reproduce:
Procedure to reproduce:
1. Enter a search specification into the quick search (such as Subject or sender contains 'John Doe') and press enter to apply search.  Thunderbird now filters messages as expected.
2. Right click on toolbar and click "Customize...". 

Actual Results:  
At this point, the search "John Doe" disappears from the widget, and does not return even after you exit the Customize dialog.

The filtering results are retained throughout the process (only messages from John Doe are shown)

Expected Results:  
- Filtering results should remain (works as expected)
- John Doe search spec should appear once I leave the Customize dialog
- (maybe? not really required.) John Doe search spec should appear during Customize dialog

At least at first glance, I'd be more inclined to clear the filtering while entering customization, since we don't know whether the quicksearch widget will still be around when the user gets done customizing. Yes, you can clear the filtering by then switching to another folder and back, but that's not immediately obvious, and seems like a worse outcome than losing what's supposed to have been a "quick" search while customizing.

I'd rather think that unless the quick search widget is touched during customize, that both the results and the widget contents should remain intact
