User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; sv) Opera 9.23 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.6 Hello. For some reason the attachement are shown below the window were I read my mail. I have unmarked Show attachement in the message but it does not work. In the previous vresion it was no problem. What shall I do? Sincerely. Lars Widlund Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
As far as I understand the only change is to the appearance of the attachment list below the message content pane; View -> Display Attchments Inline works as expected and toggles the visibility of inline attchments in the message content pane itself (tbird 2.0.0.6 & trunk 2007-08-17-22Z, linux). I don't know of any option for permanently hiding the attachment list having existed...
Assuming that you are talking about the appearance of the attachment icons in the attachment pane, they will always be there when a message has attachments (e.g., to save the attachment), independent from Display Attachments Inline. Those icons have increased in size though between 1.5 and 2.0 versions. If this is what irritates you, you can revert the attachment icon sizes to the pre-2.0 appearance with mailnews.attachments.display.largeView set to false. Otherwise, you will need to be more specific what the problem is.
