Steps: 1) Open a blank document Notice caret on top left corner 2) Click on the font or heading pull down menu buttons, but do not choose anything Actual Results: Caret disappears from document Expected Results: Caret should still be there. Build Date/Platform: 2000051420 on NT
the caret also disappears on win98, assigning to Joe and setting to M17
