Overview Description:
The scroll button in the Messenger thread pane does not give feedback as you
move the wheel on the intellimouse using intellimouse software v2.2d. The
message threads do scroll up and down but the scroll button remains in its
current postion.
This problem does not occur in the messenger folder pane, message pane, or
sidebar. This problem also does not occurs in the navigator window.
Steps to Reproduce:
0) Installed MS Intellimouse Pro drivers 2.2d into Windows NT 4.0 SP6.
1) Start Seamonkey
2) Open Messenger
3) Select a message thread
A message loads in the message pane
4) Use the wheel on your mouse to scroll up and down.
Notice that the message thread scroll but the scroll button on the scroll bar
doesn't.
Actual Results:
The list of messages scrolls as you move the mouse but the scroll button
remains stationary.
Expected Results:
You should see the scroll button move on the scroll bar as you use the wheel to
scroll through the list of messages

The intellimouse software that I was initially installed was 2.2d.
* If I upgrade to intellimouse software version 3.1a, the problem goes away. :-)

I re-installed the MS intellimouse drivers v2.2d. It appears to work now.
Resolving as worksforme.

Apparently the wheel is now working without the Intellimouse driver loaded (the
MS Intellipoint driver is now v4.1) in Mozilla 1.3 on Windows 2000.
Tested on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
I don't know for Win NT, but on Win 2k this bug is closed.
For the record, I've filled bug 203168 about the 3rd mouse button emulation
however, which is different.
