Our windows optimized builds are frequently crashing with the attached stack. I can't reproduce the problem in OS X or on Linux, nor can I reproduce it in debug builds.

This happens almost immediately when dragging an item from the desktop (or some other explorer window) over our main window. Dropping is not necessary - we usually crash before the mouse button is released. I looked briefly at bonsai for changes to the windows widget code in the last month but nothing jumped out at me.

I realize that this stack isn't particularly useful, so if anyone can suggest other information that I can collect that would help please let me know.

Ok, so turns out we have a dangling pointer (bug 394042) being accessed and the Cycle Collector is not involved at all. Sorry!
