If I put the following items on the bookmarks toolbar:
Bookmarks Toolbar Items, Splitter, Search Bar
and resize with the splitter, I see the following problems:
1) The bookmarks overflow chevron doesn't update when I resize.
2) New windows don't remember the resizing.

This appears to have been fixed. I no longer get this behavior.
Though apparently there's still a similar problem for Macs only (bug 427280).
Tentatively marking as fixed.
