I understand that new versions correct previous problems, but sometimes create new ones: the STOP button is missing in the current Thunderbird version 2.0.0.6 (20070728)!
Why? It is very necessary to stop loading big mails! Actually we can only see the text part of big emails (with big attachments) AFTER the loading of everything, which is really terrible: the program should first load and exhibit the text part, then continuing loading the attachs, and then HAVE THE STOP button to stop loading if the thing is not interesting!

right-click on the toolbar, and choose customize. Then drag the stop-button to the toolbar.
