I cannot get Firefox to open a local file at the position of a named anchor from a shell command or a command line, e.g.

file:///C:/folder/filename.htm#anchorname

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select local html file on your system with anchors
2. open command line
3. file:///C:/folder/filename.htm#anchorname
Actual Results:
file always opens at top

Expected Results:
file should open at anchor

this was discussed in:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=3033560#3033560

with the moderators recommandation "You can file an enhancement bug".

FF3 should NOT claim the file is not found! Any ambiguities concerning tools.html#1 being a file with extension html#1 or #1 being an anchor could be resolved by:
1. Look for the file tools.html#1. If found open it at the top. Exit.
2. If file tools.html#1 is not found look for file tools.html. If found look for anchor 1. If found open browser there. If anchor 1 is not found open at top. Exit.
3. If nothing found: report error.
There is still a bug in command line parsing when the command line is created by legacy apps; this bug does not exhibit in internet explorer.

How to Fix a 2 Handle Bathroom Faucet Leaking Water From the Handles

Most people do not realize that a 2 handle bathroom faucet is the commonest and most easily repairable problem, especially when it is broken by some amateur plumber. However, when the problem is very serious, like a leaking basin faucet https://www.nivito.com/, it is advisable to seek professional help from someone who knows how to fix such problems. In fact, some people refer to professional plumbers as "master plumbers" because they know all about plumbing and have expertise in fixing all kinds of problems. Even if you are the type of person who can fix your own plumbing problem, it is advisable to use a professional plumber for large repairs because they are more experienced than you. This article will explain why a 2 handle bathroom faucet leaking may be fixed by a professional plumber and why you should never attempt to repair it on your own.

  • Water Suply Failure

The most common cause of a leaking around the basin is the failure of the water supply valves. These water supply valves control whether the supply of the water to the bathroom faucets is shut off or on. Without these valves, the water supply could spray out around the basin and cause a mess in the bathroom.

How to fix?

To fix this problem, the professional should first examine the problem area where the water is leaking. It is advisable for them to buy some plastic leafs or plastic pieces so that they can take a close look at the problem area. If you are not sure where the problem is, you can ask the plumber to draw you a diagram or some illustrations to help you identify the problem. If you have enough knowledge on the replacement parts, you should be able to identify the parts without drawing or diagram. For instance, a hole at the bottom is called a "stain" and a similar hole at the top is called a "ridge".

  • Replace the handles

For further assistance, you should know that replacing the handles is one of the simplest solutions. This is because all you have to do is to replace the old washer with the new washer. In addition, there is also the possibility that the shower faucet washer is broken, but the stem is still working properly. In such a case, you should purchase a new washer.

If the sink basin is damaged, you should replace the handles using the same type of style of washer as was used when replacing the washer in the bathroom faucet. You should carefully replace all the washers until you are left with only one handle in the sink basin. At this time, you should focus on getting the correct washer since it is the most important component of this process.

Before making any final decisions, you should know that this process will take time and there are high chances for accidents. You should therefore avoid using the washer for at least four hours after you replace the faucet handle. The next steps include removing the dripping faucet and checking the pipe for leaks. In order to fix dripping faucet leaking, you should get the correct tool and wear proper protection for your safety.
