User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6 Build Identifier: I am receiving a repetitive email from Victoria's Secret every time I request get mail. I have contacted Victoria's Secret and they told me to contact my internet provider. I then contacted Charter Communications and they said the problem is the third party email client, meaning this program from you that I'm using. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.I just open the get mail option in Thunderbird. 2. 3. Actual Results: This email is dated from 8/22 and I have probably had at least 50 of them by now. I just have them dumped into my trash folder. Expected Results: I should not be even getting this email anymore. It's very annoying. I wish to have this eliminated.

The bug is most likely on the mail server. Do you have Thunderbird configured to leave messages on the server? If so, do you have it configured to delete messages from the server when they are deleted locally? What version of Thunderbird are you using? 1.5? 2.0? Do you have web-mail access to your POP3 account? If so, you could try deleting the message from the server using the web-mail access.
bugzilla is a horrible mechanism for technical support, please use the links at http://www.mozilla.org/support/ instead. Once the cause of the problem has been discovered then a useful bug report can be written.
Someone else also had this problem... Where can one sign up to get those news letters?
