STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. fill up a menu with items so that the "scroll items" at the top and
bottom appears (e.g. fill the bookmarks menu with more items than is
room for on screen)
2. hover one of those scroll items

It wouldn't surprise me if this can be abused to cause a crash...
