User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20061023 SUSE/2.0.0.5-1.1 Firefox/2.0.0.5 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.6 (20070801) Thunderbird will abort sporadically with a corrupted heap pointer. So far it has only happened about once a day. So far all the times it has happened I have been away from the computer and doing nothing with Thunderbird (except that it's fetching mail now and then). I'm sorry this isn't a lot to go on, but I attach the full backtrace generated when it aborts. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. *** glibc detected *** /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin: free(): invalid pointer: 0x0000000002d0a868 *** I was using the Crossover X 2.5 theme but I think it has crashed once before I installed this theme. Otherwise standard setup. Using imap servers and very little in local folders. OS is SUSE 10.2, installed from latest RPM in OpenSUSE build service. Got a talkback crash id for that? <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback>
Unfortunately no, this build didn't include one. But I have discovered that it doesn't happen if I don't enable the Crossover X 2.5 theme; I was wrong about that having no effect. So I have queried the author of the theme about that.
->INVALID (theme issue). Feel free to reopen (with a crash id) if you can reproduce with the default theme
