In Eudora it was possible to create a filter directly from a message with a right click. Now to create a filter I have to open the tools menu and create the filter manually. It's a very noisy and long process.

You can right click on the From or To of the message to use 'create filter from message'.

But yes, Filters are a major pain in the neck compared to the old Eudora. Please vote for one of the other filter-related bugs:
